The process control architecture is based on a dual redundant fibre optic network channelling data from dual redundant Siemens S7-412H PLC's to a Siemens distrubuted SCADA system with dual redundant servers and six client workstations.

Profibus DP and PA is used as fieldbus for instruments and valves as well as the intelligent MCC's Model Form 4 type 6B with retractable starters.
